Define where you are
Where and How to get There

Digital Transformation

Our approach is to bring clarity about how your business works today, define where it needs to go, and build the structured pathways to get there. By aligning strategy, capabilities, processes, data, and technology, EA reduces duplication, accelerates delivery, strengthens governance, and ensures every investment drives measurable business outcomes. At its best, EA becomes a continuous value provider — shaping decisions, guiding change, and enabling the organisation to move with purpose.

At Technoland, we help businesses navigate this complex landscape by providing expert guidance, strategic planning, and hands-on implementation support. Our team of experienced professionals works closely with you to understand your unique challenges and opportunities, and develop tailored solutions that drive measurable results.

  • Short term fixes that become long term liabilities
Architecture
  • MACH: Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless architecture
  • TOGAF: Architecture development method
  • Security: by design
  • Low TTM: Agile delivery with a CICD Integration delivering composable solutions
  • Cost Effective: Leveraging open source and low-code/no-code platforms
Integration
  • ESBs, SOA, APIs, ETL, We integrate SaaS, Legacy, and cloud-based systems
  • Expert on Azure iPaaS covering major services: Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management, etc.

Hospitality Use Case

One of the leading hospitality companies in the UK approached Technoland to assess the current integration landscape using Mulesoft and suggest a path for a more efficient and cost-effective solution. Having experience with Mulesoft, we were able to provide a comprehensive assessment and recommend a path forward within Azure iPaas.

Technoland has provided a comprehensive strategy and roadmap covering architecture, Governance, Development and Support that addressed the client's needs: Scalability, Integration, Cost-effectiveness and Security.

Cost
The dominant driver, by a wide margin Organizations report integration costs increasing 40-60% over five-year periods, even without expanding usage, and MuleSoft's subscription model bundles features many organizations never actually use, straining budgets over time. One documented large-scale migration moved 400+ APIs over nine months, with cost as the primary driver, resulting in a 30%+ reduction in platform costs once complete
Consumption-based pricing model vs. flat licensing
Azure's core services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Functions, Event Grid) each scale independently and bill based on actual usage, eliminating the need to overprovision — a fundamentally different economic model than MuleSoft's bundled subscription tiers. For a company with variable or growing integration needs, this can be significantly more cost-predictable
Required Skills
MuleSoft requires specialized DataWeave/Anypoint expertise that's a narrower, more expensive talent pool than general Azure skills with PaaS, Functions, and Logic Apps. Azure provides broader, more transferable skills that are easier to find and retain within the company. Azure also provides the capability to integrate 3rd party services more easily through its connectors and APIs.
Integration Complexity
Different SaaS have been successfully integrated within the customer's Azure environment in few weeks time, demonstrating the platform's flexibility and ease of use. STINT is a great business capability offering short term workforce solutions that was integrated with the HRIS, Snowflake, LMS, Oracle POS...
Smooth Value Delivery
MuleSoft's higher cost and complexity may not suit small businesses with limited integration needs — Azure Logic Apps or similar iPaaS options are often more appropriate for smaller organizations, and Logic Apps offers a more user-friendly, drag-and-drop interface with a flatter learning curve, whereas MuleSoft requires more experienced developers and a steeper learning curve. This is a genuinely strong point for your small-biotech pitch specifically — these companies don't need or want MuleSoft-scale complexity.
